TEAM EXPERIENCES

"As Director of People and Development, I've had a unique role where I get the chance to build a personal relationship with everyone at the organization. I am continuously amazed by our team, their work ethic motivates me to always challenge myself and reminds me to dream big! As a result, I have grown tremendously while working with Kite!"

-Allie Halprin, Director of People and Development

“Rise Tutoring isn't just a group of student volunteers; we're a force, and I've become so more passionate about education and access because of it. The impact Rise Tutoring has on these youth is not just academic - they become more empowered, more confident and achieve more when someone gives them their time and believes in them. Knowing that I'm contributing to something that powerful is humbling and incredibly exciting!”

-Katie Gourlay, Tutor Relations

"The best part is that Kite, as an organization, gives you the opportunity to go out in the field, taking photos of the various student run initiatives/projects like Bumpin Bakery and Tutoring, practice your photography skills, and learn as you go, both on the field and off the field. Because the organization does a lot of big and small events, it helps amatuer photographers like myself get a better sense of the area of event photography.
